2018 Toyota Tundra Blind Spot Monitor Towing Mirror Compatibility
Question:
Can you get rid of the blind spot feature so you can use the Towing mirrors? I had towing mirrors installed and the blind spot feature shows that truck needs serviced and i can not override this feature.

From what I've found online you can disable the blind spot monitor with buttons on your dash. They will reset each time to start your vehicle, so you would have to do it each time you start your vehicle which would be quite the hassle when you stop for gas to remove your tow mirrors like # KS3990 just to start your vehicle and hit the button so you don't get the light.
If you want to mount towing mirrors like the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors - Electric/Heat w Turn Signal - Textured Black - Pair # KS70103-04T you would need to have your dealer disable that feature.
