Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2018 Chevy Equinox
Question:
The LT model I have does not have the tow package. It does have the factory connector as described in the installation video for c94fr. Is there more to the factory tow package or is wired on all models? Wondering if you had any info on this? Thanks

Since you have the wiring connector, you most likely have at least the wiring portion of the tow package and can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C94FR which includes the relays. The models without that wire harness connect in a different location completely using # 118750 which connects behind the driver and passenger side tail lights. These harnesses will mount below your vehicle, so I recommend using a mounting bracket like # 18144 and # 18140 to secure your wiring.
