Availability of Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist for Lawn Care Trailer
Question:
I have a 6x10 trailer used for lawn care. I have an equipment defender weed eater rack. Will the Gorilla Lift still work? Also, the gate is not super heavy so are there different models for smaller trailers? Thanks

The Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist # GL1 referenced in your question will mount on both sides of the trailer to assist with lifting and lowering the tailgate. As long as you have the needed frame space available on each side of your trailer, this will work great. The side rail height also needs to be 12 inches to 24 inches from the bed and the tailgate height should be 4 feet to 6 feet from the bed. It has a weight capacity of 300 pounds.
The only other trailer tailgate lift assist we have available is the Rack'Em Double Barrel Utility Tailgate List Assist # RA-27C. This particular unit is intended for smaller trailers, as it has a weight capacity of 200 pounds. It will also only mount to one side of the trailer, leaving space on the other side for rail-mounted accessories.
I have attached a couple short video demonstrations on these products that you can also check out.
