Can the Epicord Battery Disconnect Switch # 277-000096 be Installed on Negative Battery Terminal
Question:
I have always been told to disconnect the negative side first when attempting any repairs or modifications concerning DC electrical. With this in mind, would this switch work just as well interrupting the negative terminal vs. the positive side of the batteries?

Since the Epicord Battery Disconnect Switch with Key # 277-000096 basically just disrupts the connection it can be used for either the positive or the negative side of the battery.
Really the only time that it matters is when you install a battery disconnect like the Roadmaster # RM-766 which is designed to charge the battery while it is disconnected.
