Question:
My bracket is totally rusted beyond use and new weld on replacement. Is there any such thing available?

Expert Reply:
In order to replace the rusted trailer connector mounting bracket on the trailer hitch for your 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche I recommend using part # 18144 if you have a 4-way or part # 18138 if you have a 7-way. These brackets will attach to the hitch via the included self tapping screws or by welding. If you do not want to drill into the hitch or weld than you can add the no drill bracket part # 18140 for 4-way or part # C57202 for 7-way in addition to the corresponding bracket listed above.
