Roadmaster Base Plate Kit Recommendation for 2014 Honda CR-V
Question:
We have a 2004 CRV great car, high miles and we are getting close to time to travel the states. Can we take the base plate off of the 04 and put it on a 2014?

Honda made enough changes to the CR-V between the 2004 and 2014 years that Roadmaster had to create a new base plate kit fit. So you would need to upgrade to a new base plate kit like the part # RM-521567-4 which is a confirmed fit and will work well. I attached an install video for this kit for you to check out as well.
