For a battery charger that should work very well for the battery on your dump trailer, I recommend taking a look at the CTEK MULTI US 12V Universal Battery Charger # CTEK56353. This charger features a maintenance-free multi-step system that will constantly monitor and maintain the battery's charge when hooked up. It comes with a set of clamp terminals and eyelet terminals. The eyelets can be left attached to the battery while the clamp terminals offer a quick alternative for temporary connections. It will plug into a standard AC household outlet.
For a DC to DC charger that will charge the battery using your Ford's alternator, I recommend the Redarc BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1240D.
You can also use the 12V power circuit on the 7-Way connector of your tow vehicle to maintain the charged battery while you're driving. Just note that this won't give you enough power to actually charge up a depleted battery. You will need to use the above-mentioned charger for that type of application.
I have attahed an installation video that you can use for reference.
