Recommended Roof Rack for Two Saddle Style Kayak Carriers on a 2015 Ford Focus
Question:
Hi I have a 2015 Ford Focus Hatch Back and was wondering how wide of cross bars would you need to put two of these mounts on . I have two ten foot long kayaks.

In order to use two of the Rhino-Rack Nautic Roof Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs part # RR570 on your 2015 Ford Focus Hatchback, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Crossbar System which is composed of # RRVA137B-2, part # RRRLKVA, and part # DK307. The aero crossbars will be more wind resistant but the square crossbars will be more cost effective.
It may be a good idea to measure the width of your kayaks and compare them to the length of the bars. Please note the most states require the crossbars do not exceed the side mirrors.
