Recommended Fork Mount Bike Racks for OEM Roof Rack on a 2014 Honda CR-V
Question:
Hello, I have the roof rails that are flush with the vehicle on my CRV and I got the Honda cross bars 08L04-T0A-100. I did this thinking it would fit the bike fork mounted roof racks we have on another car and they don’t. What will work with the cross bars that’s a fork mounted bike rack? Thank you!

The Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier # Y02098 that you referenced is a great option for your roof rack on your 2014 Honda CR-V.
This bike rack can be mounted on round, square, and factory (aero) crossbars that do not exceed the 3-7/8" wide x 1-7/8" tall max dimensions and that have a crossbar spread between 16" - 42" (center of front crossbar to center of rear bar). If you are going to use 2 more than 2 of the ForkLift bike racks then your minimum spread changes to 18".
Although this bike rack doesn't come with locks you can add the locking feature by installing the Same Key System # Y07202.
