How to Choose Correct Replacement Hubs for Boat Trailer with 2,200 lb Axle

Im looking to order new hub assembly Its a boat trailer with 2200lbs Axel weight limit with 4 studs, how and what do I need to measure to get the right ones? Thanks

To ensure that you get the correct replacement hub assembly you need to check the part numbers on your bearings and your grease seal. If you pull the hub you should find them stamped right on the bearings and seal themselves.
Luckily trailer axles have become more standardized in the recent past so I can tell you that they should be # L44649 bearings and your seal should be a 10-9 (with an inner diameter of 1.50"). If this is the case then I recommend going with galvanized hubs as they will last much longer for water applications.
If you have a standard spindle use part # AKIHUB-440-2-G-2K but if you have an E-Z Lube spindle use part # AKIHUB-440-2-G-EZ-2K instead. Both of these options have a 4 on 4" bolt pattern. You can verify that this matches up with what you have by measure from the center of one stud directly across to the center of the opposite stud. This should be 4".
