Comparison of Two Titan Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuators
Question:
T4750600 vs T2478100, can you tell me the difference between these two actuators.
asked by: James B
Expert Reply:
The two Titan brake actuators, parts # T2478100 and # T4750600, are the same actuator except the former is for drum brakes and the latter is for disc brakes. Part # T4750600 operates at a higher pressue (around 1,500 psi) which is what is required for disc brakes where part # T2478100 only operates about 1,000 psi.
You want to select the appropriate actuator because the higher pressue is too much for drum brakes and the lower not enough for disc.
