Can Thule The Stacker be Left On Vehicle without Affecting Fuel Mileage
Question:
Hi, can you tell me if you leave these racks on all the time? I would think that will reduce your mileage quite a lot. We want to be able to carry 2 14 foot yaks every other weekend and then remove the racks when not in use. Is this possible and if so, is it hard or time consuming to do it?

The great thing about the Thule Stacker part # TH830 is that the uprights can be folded down when not in use so that you don't affect fuel mileage as much. The racks are pretty easy to remove and install too though so either way you'd have a great system that will be easy to use without affecting fuel mileage.
