The EcoHitch 2-inch model # 306-X7261 is a confirmed fit on the 2008 Subaru Impreza 5-Door Wagon with Quad Exhaust. This hitch will fit WRX quad exhaust models, including the WRX STi.
I contacted the tech staff at TorkLift, who makes the EcoHitch products, and my contact provided the written instructions for installing this item. I have forwarded these to you in a separate email.
This hitch has a 300-lb tongue weight (TW) capacity which means that a loaded bike rack like # TH934XTR or cargo carrier like # 63153 can weigh up to this total amount unless your owner's manual indicates a lower TW for the vehicle. If the car has a lower TW rating than the hitch then the lower rating applies.
