Will My RBW 5th Wheel Hitch Fit in 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel Crew Cab Truck

Hello, I just bought a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500, Diesel Crew cab. I have a RBW fifth wheel hitch that is in my F-250 2005 Ford. Will this hitch work on a 2011 Dodge 2500 ? If, so where do I get the installation kit for it.

You will be able to use your RBW 5th Wheel Hitch in your new 2011 Dodge Ram 2500, you would just need to use a different installation and rail kit. You will need to use the Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, part # RP50140-58, which will work with the 6 and 8 foot bed models of the Ram 2500. This is a custom installation kit, which will cut your installation time by almost half and requires less drilling over a universal kit. The Reese Installation Kit (with rails) will work with your Dodge Ram and is compatible with RBW 5th Wheel Hitches.

If your 2011 Ram truck has a 6 foot bed, your RBW fifth wheel hitch would need to be a sliding fifth wheel hitch to provide enough clearance. If you do not have a sliding hitch, I would recommend using the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Round Tube Slider, part # RP30075.

Checkout the picture of the Reese rails I have attached that shows the mounting measurements for 5th wheel hitches. You can use this to verify that your hitch will mount.
