Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty without Factory Rail Kit
Question:
What fifth wheel hitch set up would you recommend for my 2017 F250? It does not have the prep kit installed. The trailer I am looking to buy has an unloaded weight of 7845, an unloaded hitch weight of 1550, and a GVWR of 9995. weight

I really like the B and W Companion fifth wheel hitches. Most RVers refer to them as the nicest hitches on the market. So if you have a short bed truck you'd want the slider version part # BWRVK3400 so that you have turning clearance or if you have a long bed you could use the fixed version part # BWRVK3500 and you'd be set.
For the rail kit then you'd want the part # BWGNRK1116 which fits both bed lengths.
