Clamps to Mount Vertical Sunscreen to RV Awning

Question:

Will this clamp apparatus work for attaching a vertical sunscreen material to the side awning frame? If so, how many would be required or needed to support approximately 10 feet of screen?

The Valterra Awning Buddy # A30-0300 is a set of two rubberized clamps intended to tighten a sagging awning or to prevent one from flapping in the breeze, but they also sound like they'd be perfect for your similar application to secure a vertical sunscreen to the same awning structure.

I expect that you would need a total of at least 4 clamps (so that means two complete kits) for the top of a 10-foot screen but more may be needed depending on the weight of that screen material. You will also want some way to secure the bottom of that screen at ground level. You could use a couple more sets of these clamps on the bottom and secure them to the ground with tent spikes or a kit like the Valterra Happy Hook Anchor Kit # A30-0200.
