Does Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-3000NG Get Power from a Battery or 7-Way
Question:
I am not familiar with this type of jack so pardon my ignorance. How does the jack get the 12 volts of power? Do I have to get a separate 12volt battery? Or does it have a plug that I can plug into my 6-7 prong plug at the back of my truck? Thank you

The 3K Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-3000NG gets its power from a trailer mounted battery. If your trailer does not have a battery (and if you do not wish to add one) there is another option. There is indeed a jack that plugs into a 7-Way connector on the tow vehicle to receive power. It is the Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack # UF38-944037. I have included links to videos on both jacks for you.
