Recommended Low Profile 5th Wheel Hitch for a Flatbed Truck

Question:

I have a Reese Titan 16 permanently mounted to my FlatBed without legs. Can I install rails and legs to make it removable with out raising it above 11inch off the flat Bed?

I do have an option for you but once you install the Replacement Legs for Reese Titan part # RP58449 with the Reese Universal Base Rails part # RP58058 on your Head Assembly for Reese Titan 16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # RP58446, the distance from the bed of the truck to the top of the skid plate will be around 14-3/4"

In order to have the top of the skid plate stick up over the flatbed no more than 11" you will want to use the Reese Low-Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30054 which will sit right at about 10-1/2" above the bed. You can use the Reese Universal Base Rails part # RP58058 to mount this hitch.
