Compatibility of Electric Jack with Equal-I-zer Weight Distribution System

Question:

I am considering this for my RPod 179. It has an Equalizer WD hitch, and in order to install as well as remove the wd bars, I need to use the frame jack to raise the hitch above level to to relieve the pressure on the bars. Since this is done with the trailer hooked up to the vehicle, it needs to lift a considerable amount of weight. I dont know if there would be any issues with the 3,500 lb capacity of this electric jack - do you think that itll be able to handle it?

The Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX won't have any issues with raising your trailer tongue. Since you want to also raise your tow vehicle slightly the manufacturer won't cover any issues if you were to have issues with the jack in the future. In theory it will have the power to do what you request, but I can't recommend using it in that way. I can confirm that the jack will not interfere in any way with the Equal-I-zer weight distribution system on your R-Pod 179 trailer.
