Which Curt Trailer Hitch for 2017 Toyota Sienna is Concealed
Question:
What brand of hitch do you recommend for a 2017 Toyota Sienna Limited? I have been reading about different brands and wondering what the differences are in the models that hang down and show vs concealed behind the bumper. I took my van to U Haul yesterday. They ripped off the plastic protective piece under my new van and werent even going to tell me. I have it in the back of my van now and I am not happy. They installed a Curt hitch that hangs down Id previously asked for one that was concealed. Can you tell me the differences between the two styles and what is most recommended? I will be pulling a small pop up camper and installing a class III hitch.

For your 2017 Toyota Sienna the Curt hitch part # C13343 is listed as a "concealed hitch". This means that most of the hitch isn't visible but the hitch opening where the ball mount slides into. This is as concealed as you are going to find. I attached a picture that shows where the rear area would most likely get trimmed.
For a hitch that is not "concealed" Curt also has the part # C13105 which has the crosstube visible as well. If you asked for a concealed hitch and this is what they gave you I'd be upset as well.
