I looked online and found the owner's manual which said your 4WD 2007 GMC Envoy with a 6 cylinder had a towing capacity between 5,200 lbs and 6,200 lbs depending on your axle ratio. A 3.42 axle ratio gives you 5,200 lbs of capacity, a 3.73 axle ratio gives you 5,700 lbs of capacity and a 4.10 axle ratio gives you 6.200 lbs of capacity. Oftentimes you can find your axle ratio on a sticker on one of the door sills.
