Is Modification of the Body Bumper or Fascia Required to Install the # C11073 Hitch on 2011 Mazda 2

Is any cutting/trimming of the bumper/body required when installing this hitch? Any modification of the cars body or bumper? Thanks

The installation instructions for the Curt Trailer Hitch, # C11073, indicate that no modification of the vehicle rear bumper or rear fascia is required for installation of the hitch.
Vapor canister will need to be removed and reattached for hitch installation. There is a possibility that the carbon canister hose may contact the hitch bracket. If this occurs you will need to use pliers to bend the bracket and rotate the hose out of the way. Also, the exhaust must be temporarily lowered for installation.
