Can Air Bag Helper Springs be Installed on a 2016 Ford F-350 with B&W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch
Question:
I have a 2016 F350 short bed with the BandW Turnover Ball kit and Companion hitch. I love this set up. But, our new fiver is a bit heavier than the old one. Though still within vehicle specs it does drop the rear end a bit more. I would like to install some air bags but with the turnover ball kit Im not so sure they are compatible. Any suggestions?

Actually, you can install air bags on your 2016 Ford F-350 with the B&W Turnover ball hitch brackets on the frame. The brackets have a hole in them right in the middle that is needed by the upper brackets of Firestone Ride-Rite air springs # F2597. The hitch brackets and air spring brackets can use the same bolt through the hitch brackets and truck frame to secure to the truck.
(Please note the F2597 kit is Not a fit for V10 Gas Engine with Extended Cab and 8 ft Bed, 2-wheel drive models.)
I also recommend an onboard compressor system, # F2158, so you can adjust the pressure in the air springs from the comfort of the truck cab. This means you would not have to worry about having access to an external compressor.
