Using a Motorcycle Carrier with a 6 Inch Drop Ball Mount

Question:

I need a hitch adapter for a 6inch drop on my 2015 Suburban, as the hitch level is too high. The hitch will hold a motorcycle ramp and motorcycle for combined weight of about 400 lbs. So I would like more than 400 lb tongue weight, and ideally also be able to tow. Does this product exist??? thanks!

We do have something that'll work for you; the Gen-Y ball mount, part # 325-GH-514. It's a ball mount with 7-1/2 inches of drop or rise using 4 receiver openings to insert the hitch ball into. Two inch and 2-5/16 inch hitch balls are also included.

You can use one of the bottom openings for the hitch ball to obtain the drop you need and the top opening for your motorcycle carrier. The ball mount is rated up to 2,000 pounds of total tongue weight.
