Troubleshooting Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX Lowering But Not Raising
Question:
Just bought a trailer jack from E-trailer, it worked fine on the first camping trip after installing it, but this last trip we took, it would only lower the trailer and not raise it? What could be wrong?

If you've only used the Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX for one camping trip and it is only lowering the trailer now there are 3 possibilities.:
1) - Your battery that you are using to power the jack is depleted and needs to be charged. Naturally the jack would need more power to raise the trailer since it is pushing against the tongue weight of the trailer. When lowering the jack gravity does a good amount of work.
2) - You have a short somewhere. Check your ground and your wiring to make sure everything looks good and isn't damaged.
3) - The trailer jack needs to be replaced. Since this is a brand new jack I highly doubt this is the reason.
Make sure your battery is fully charged and your wiring is in good working order and you should be good to go!
