How Does Prodigy Brake Controller Install in 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
What do I need to install a PR 2 or 3 to my 2011 Silverado 1500 LS It already has a factory install trailer plug

Your 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 has brake controller wiring under the dash of the vehicle which will allow either the Prodigy P2 # 90885 or the P3 # 90195 to install easily. There are 4 blunt cut wires under the dash which you'd hardwire to the brake controller. I attached a help article and an install video that covers this as well. The picture shows the bundle outlined.
Between the P2 and the P3 I'd go with the P3 as it has a display that uses full words instead of abbreviated codes to decipher. They are aside from that identical so the performance is the same.
