Will the Stromberg Carlson Bumper Mount Spare Tire Carrier Fit a 2 Inch by 4 Inch Trailer Frame
Question:
Can you order this with U bolts for a 2 x 4 frame? What is the width of the vertical tube? 1x1, 2x2?? My frame has stake pockets on the side and I need the vertical tube wide enough for the tire to clear the pockets.

First, the Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier, # TR-1, is designed to fit a 4 inch by 4 inch square bumper but cannot be modified to fit a different size. The vertical tube measures 1-16/16 inches by 1-15/16 inches.
It sounds like you need a trailer frame mount carrier. I have incldued a link to the trailer frame mount spare tire carriers we offer.
