Does Manual Override Slide on Tekonsha Voyager Slide Back Into Place on its Own
Question:
is the manual lever suppose to return on its own ? the controller in my van different brand does if fact anytime I apply the brake the controller moves and lights up. is the voyager suppose to be doing the same?

The manual override slide on the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller # 39510 that you referenced will indeed automatically slide back into its original position after using it for braking. When using the manual slide, the LED light on the unit should turn red, and then back to green after letting go and it slides back into place. A green light just indicates that the controller senses a trailer connection and it should remain this color as long as you are towing (when not braking).
If the light on your Voyager is staying green when applying the brakes, you may just need to adjust the sensor. I have attached a great demonstration video on this controller that you can use for reference. The segment on leveling the sensor begins at around the 2:30 mark. I have also attached the written instruction manual for this controller that you can check out.
