Is There a Difference Between B and W Companion Hitch BWRVK3400 and 3405
Question:
I am considering a BW 3400 or a 3405 slider hitch for my ram 2500 short bed. What is difference between these hitches and do they require anything additional for mounting other than the bw turnover ball that is on my truck now?

Basically the two part numbers you mentioned are now just our B and W Companion Slider part # BWRVK3400. B and W uprated the 3400 to a higher weight capacity and changed the part number to 3405. We decided to keep the old part number but offer it at the higher weight capacity.
Since you already have the Turnoverball gooseneck hitch # BWGNRK1308 all you'd need is the # BWRVK3400 and you'd be set.
