What Mounting Bracket Fits the Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector
Question:
will Pollak # pk11893 and pk 11998 bolt into this mount without any modifiication
asked by: Jim
Expert Reply:
A Pollack Trailer Connector like # PK11893, should fit in the 6 and 7-Way Trailer Connector Mounting Box, # 18159, without modifying either part. However, there have been some cases where mounting bracket holes did not line up quite right. In those cases, we usually recommend the Mounting Bracket for Pollak 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector, # PK12711U. The elongated holes are more universal than regular round holes.
You can use the Pollak mounting bracket with No-Drill Mount Bracket, Short, # 18140 to attach to a trailer hitch. The wiring harness # PK11998 should not be a fit problem.
