Can I Install A Hitch With A Full Sized Spare Tire Underneath The Chevrolet Traverse
Question:
Ive seen many pictures of chevy traverses with hitches with donut spare tires, but Ive managed to mount a full size spare insulated from exhaust pipes and want to have a hitch as well with my full-size spare. Can your company accomplish this?

I reached out to my contacts at Curt and Draw-Tite and they confirmed that their Trailer Hitch Receivers will fit only with factory OEM spare tire.
If you decide to reinstall your factory spare tire, I recommend Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75528 to install on your 2015 Chevrolet Traverse. There is no drilling required for installation.
Do not cut or splice vehicle wiring. Only use approved T-One trailer tow wiring kit # 118270. The fascia door panel must be removed for hitch installation and may not be able to be reattached.
I have a video attached that shows # 75528 being installed on a 2015 Chevy Traverse with the OEM spare tire attached.
The etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches # 989900 is a excellent product to consider. It includes two ball mounts, two hitch balls and pin & clips.
