Hollywood HR200Z Bike Rack Compatibility with Spare Tire on 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Question:
Hollywood HR200 bike rack. I have a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser and the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest outside point of the spare tire is 5 1/2. So if the closest wheel loop is 12 1/2inch this rack should work yes? Only question is the handle bar of the bike closest to the car. Do you think the handle bar will hit the spare tire cause the spare tire on FJs is mounted pretty high. Thanks.

Expert Reply:
The center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the wheel hoop on the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2-Bike # HR200Z is 12-1/8 inches. This will give you about 7 inches of clearance from the closest edge to the closest part of the wheel hoop or approximately 9 inches to the center of the wheel hoop. If your handlebars are longer than 9 inches from the center, then you may need to adjust the wheel hoop locations to accommodate your bike location around your spare tire.
I recommend using the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable Lock # HRLHPTC for this application on your 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser.
