Best Front Mount Hitch for a 2016 Forest River RV Sunseeker 3170DS on a Ford E450 Chassis
Question:
Hi! I have a 2016 Sunseeker 3170 DS Class C motorhome which is on a Ford 450 chassis. I am looking for a front hitch. My search only shows Ford 450 Super Duty compatibility. Can you recommend a front hitch for my RV?

Accordinging to my research, your 2016 Forest River RV Sunseeker 3170DS is on a Ford E450 chassis. Therefore, the correct front mount hitch is the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 65053. This hitch is a direct fit for your RV and has a 9,000 lb line pull with 500 lb vertical load rating. It may require trimming of the front lower fascia but this is currently the only option we have for you.
If you can tell me what you might be using the hitch for I would be glad to offer some additional recommendations for you if necessary.
