How to Install LED Light Strips Under a Trailer
Question:
Any advise or suggestions on how to wire in LED Light strips under the pop up so as not to drill holes in the pop up. I have a 98 Jayco Eagle 12 SO Also I am looking for replacement marker lights in LED and the porch light. Problem with the turn signal/break light on the Right and left are they, are wrap arounds. Do they make a LED Replacement wrap around or what do you do if the replacement is not a wrap around. Thank you

There are a few different ways to wire/mount an LED light strip like the LED Utility Light Strip part # DG52761 on the bottom of your 1998 Jayco Eagle 12SO. In regards to mounting, you can use the double sided tape present just make sure the mounting surface is clean. Since you will be mounting the light on the underside of the trailer it will be subjected to much harsher conditions therefore, I recommend using either screws or zip ties as well as the double sided tape for security. In regards to wiring, you will need to ground the white wire to a bare metal surface and then attach the red power wire to a keyed switch like part # PK34571 or to the circuit you want the lights to turn on with like the running light circuit.
If you want to light the entire length then the LED Light Strip Kit with Wireless RF Remote - Weatherproof - Dimmable - 7 Color - 16' Long # DG52688BU may work better for you and the remote color options are a fun option.
In order to see if we have an LED replacement option for your tail, clearance, and porch lights I would need you to send me a dimensional photo of each light. Although we do not carry direct OEM replacement lights for your trailer, I would be able to see if we have any that would work for you. You can also just replace the bulbs with an LED option but I would need the bulb type of each light in order to recommend replacements.
I have attached our trailer lighting selection for you as well.
