Was There Ever a 15K B&W Companion 5th Wheel Htich
Question:
Is there a BandW Companion 5th wheel hitch rated at 15,000 pounds? I am looking at buying one and its listed at 15,000 lbs capacity. Everything I find online points to nothing less than an 18,000 pound capacity. I just want to be sure before I buy.

I would venture to say that the B&W Companion you are looking at has an 18K capacity. Maybe some of the 8 wore off and they think that it is 15K.
I spoke with my contact at B&W just to make sure and he said that they have only produced the Companion in 18K and 20K weight capacities.
