5th Wheel Brackets Needed for a 1999 Chevy C3500 Dually
Question:
I’ve gone through 2 different mounting bracket kits that both said they would work on my 1999 Chevy c3500 dually ? My hitch is a husky and I’ve had two different pros one who ordered the parts and they both said they would fit the bracket Manufacture and they did not work. A man who wants to pick up his new fifth wheel. Desperately in need of mounting brackets that work!

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 1999 Chevy C3500 I recommend going with the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP30035. We do have kits from Husky that are labeled as "Custom" per Husky but they require drilling as well. As long as your 5th wheel hitch installs on industry standard rails these are the best solution for you.
A review video and the installation instructions have been linked for you to reference.
