Why Use a High Low Adapter with Tow Bar Instead of Adjustable Ball Mount

Question:

Hi, Im just wondering what the pros and cons are to using a high-low hitch adapter vs an adjustable hitch for flat towing? Thanks,

Either option you mentioned would be dependent on what style of tow bar you use. If the tow bar has a shank that inserts into a hitch opening like the Roadmaster Falcon # RM-520 then a high-low option is only way to go. If the tow bar attaches via a hitch ball like the Roadmaster Stowmaster # RM-501 then an adjustable ball mount would be the way to go.

I attached a link below that has more info on high low adapters as well.
