Fresh Water Pump Randomly Comes On without any Faucets Running in Trailer
Question:
hello, i have a 2004 keystone springdale travel trailer 27ft. Ive had trailer winterized this past year. went camping this last weekend for memorial day. Well while the water pump is on water flows through fine and steady on hot and cold knobs for bathroom sink and kitchen sink. But when all knobs are turned off bathroom, and kitchen sinks and no other water source is on. the pump just goes off even though there is no faucets nor water running from anywhere. Could you possibly explain ?

The first thing I would do is check for leaks. It is possible, even though the trailer was winterized, something froze and cracked. It may not be a bad leak but a leak nonetheless could cause the system to steadily lose pressure which would make the pump run.
Since pump # P25201 is automatic it would either be that (loss of pressure) or an electrical issue. You can check the connections and clean any corrosion or debris away. Corrosion could cause a short and make the pump run. I can't really think of anything else that would cause this issue.
