You can absolutely mount a Reese 5th wheel hitch in an adapter that fits the puck system of your 2020 Chevy Silverado. There are two adapters, and both fit either the long bed or short bed version of your Silverado so I recommend going with the one that has the better price point:

- Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # DM6333

Both adapters will allow you to use any standard 5th wheel hitch.
