Where Do Fifth Wheel Rails Install in Bed of 2000 Ford F-250 Short Bed

Hi, ive got 2000 f250 2wd short bed 5.4 im looking to for fifth wheel hitch placement location in relation to rear axle

The king pin of a fifth wheel trailer is typically carried right over the center of the rear axle of the truck. Sometime it might be an inch forward but for a short bed truck like yours it's typically centered right over the axle.
With the universal fifth wheel rail kit part # RP30035 the rear rail edge gets installed with it's rear edge exactly 29-1/4 inches from the rear of the truck bed floor.
