I went out to the warehouse and pulled the Vented Battery Box, # DW03188, and produced a short video showing the dimensions of the box for you, see link.
The inside dimensions of the box with the lid removed are 8-1/4 inches long, by 5-1/4 inches wide at the bottom of the inside of the box, and 6-1/8 inches deep.
The overall outer dimensions of the battery box are 10-1/2 inches long, by 7-3/8 inches wide, by 9-1/4 inches high, with the lid on the box.
