Suspension Enhancement System Needed for a 2012 Toyota Tundra
Question:
Have a 2012 Toyota Tundra 4wd Crew max. I am towing a 32ft TT. Im about to upgrade the shocks and struts.leaking and seem worn when towing Unloaded the ride is great. Would like to keep that. Once hooked to the trailer with a Pro series WDH the front stays the same height, but the rear sags around 2 inches. What would work best these springs or the Firestone air bags or something else. Wanting to keep the rear from sagging and provide a better ride. Thanks

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs are a favorite around here when it comes to suspension enhancement. They have received great customer reviews and they allow you to adjust the amount of support according to your load.
For your 2012 Toyota Tundra you would want to go with part # F2445. I also recommend using a compressor kit as well because it will keep you from having to locate an air compressor when you need to have more air in the springs. The Firestone Air Command I # F2158 is a popular option that we carry. It has a gauge that installs in your cab to help you control your air springs with precision.
Please note that this kit is not compatible with an in-bed hitch (like a 5th wheel or gooseneck hitch). If you do have an in-bed hitch then I recommend using the SumoSprings Helper Springs # SSR-610-54 which replace the factory bump stops on your Tundra.
Installation instructions have been linked for both options.
Before investing in a suspension enhancement system I recommend making sure that your weight distribution system is rated properly. The loaded tongue weight of your trailer along with the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your Tundra will need to be within the tongue weight range of your Pro Series weight distribution system.
