Tips for Wiring 8-Wires of Trailer to 4-Way
Question:
I have 8 wires on my trailer- green, green/white, yellow, yellow/white, white, brown, yellow/brown, and green/brown on my trailer. How do these connect to a 4 pin green, white, yellow and brown wire harness? Do I connect the 3 white colors to the white and the 3 brown colors to the brown and then the solo green to green and solo yellow to yellow?

In general trailer wiring colors for a 4-way are:
white is ground
green is right turn/stop circuit
yellow is left turn/stop circuit
brown is running light
So you have a few extras that have two colors on them, so here's what they are most likely:
white/yellow and white/green are most likely ground circuits for both sides of the trailer that would run to the white wire and then yellow/brown and green/brown are both sides of the running light circuit wiring.
