4-Way to 5-Way Adapter Recommendation For 2018 Toyota Highlander
Question:
I have a 2018 Toyota Highlander SE with the factory hitch and wiring harness 4 pin plug. My boat has a 5 pin flat plug that includes a solenoid that disconnects the trailer brakes. Is there a kit that converts my vehicles 4 pin plug to a 5 pin?

We have the adapter you need but it requires splicing into the reverse light circuit of your 2018 Toyota Highlander. For that you'll want the part # 20036 which I attached an install video that shows this kit installed on a similar 2015 Toyota Highlander as yours.
