Is Mounting Bracket of Prodigy P3 Brake Controller Sturdy

Question:

Im considering two different proportional brake controllers: 1 Tekonsha P2 2 Tekonsha P3. I like the features of the P3, but the bracket looks wimpy. Will the P3 fit into the plastic bracket for the P2?

The mounting bracket of the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 might not look robust but I can assure it's very capable of securing the brake controller and not allowing it to fall or move around. We've sold more of this controller than all of our other controllers and have not had a single customer come back and remark that the bracket wasn't strong enough. I promise it will work great for you as it is the nicest controller on the market.
