Troubleshooting Trailer Blinker That Does Not Function
Question:
ok my turn singnals on truck at hitch work fine i am getting voltage on the right side but not the left .i get voltasge on pin with left turn signal just not the brake whci is causing bot signals to just flash

Since you have the proper voltage at the trailer connector of your truck the issue is most likely the ground of the light assembly your trailer has. Try improving the ground of the trailer light that is not functioning properly and you'll see the light start working again. Some trailer lights ground through their mounting hardware so make sure they are attached to a clean metal surface or you can run a wire back from the ground to the main ground wire of the trailer connector.
