E-Bike Rack Recommendation for Carrying E-Bikes with Step Through Frames
Question:
Hollywood SE I have two electric bikes, both with fenders, each bike weighs 60lbs. One is a step through. Because both bikes have fenders, I am unable to place the adjustable hold down clamps on each bikes front tire. You mentioned in a previous post that a step through requires an adapter to fit the Hollywood SE. My question is, can the Hollywood SE adjustable hold down clamps adequately secure to the adapter for the step through and can it adequately secure and reach the top of the frame on the second bike?

If your E-bikes have a deep step through frame the best solution for a bike rack is the Thule EasyFold part # TH903202 which has clamps that are designed for that style of bike frame. Check out the picture I attached to see how they are attached. This also comes with ramps for easy loading/unloading.
You'd have to use an adapter bar like part # UB01 to use this style of bike with a Hollywood Racks SE part # HLY84FR.
