Removing Yakima Lock Cores to Get the Key and Lock Number
Question:
I have left the keys in my sold truck. I have the towers and locks. I saved thelocks for this new installation There are no numbers on the outside only the btamp of Belgium and I cannot removethe core. Is therea msatertype key rhat would let meget the core numbers.

As long as the locks are not currently in the locked position you can use Control key # Y8007835 to remove the cores. The lock number will be printed on the side of the cores.
If they are locked then you will need to see if a locksmith can first pick the locks to allow you to use the Control key. If that is not possible the locks will need to be drilled out which could result in damage to the housing.
