Question:
Size of Bolts Used for Installing Draw-Tite 75270 Im having difficulty with some rust getting any of the bolts installed with my hitch on my 2004 Honda Odyssey. Can I use self tapping bolts to clean out the rust that has developed? Live in NYS where there is a lot of rain and snow

Expert Reply:
The size of the bolts that come with the Draw Tite hitch part # 75270 that you referenced is M12 X 1.25 X 35mm. You could use a thread tap to keep the weldnuts clean but you should know that hitch hardware is considered one time use so if you pull out your old bolts you'd have to use new hardware to reinstall the hitch.
