Will the Thule T2 Pro Bike Rack Fit Draw-Tite 2 Inch Hitch on a 2010 Subaru Forester
Question:
Hello. Im trying to decide between the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch Item # 75650 and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch Item # 13147 to use with the Thule T2 Pro on 2010 Subaru Forester. Will the Thule T2 Pro fit on 2010 Subaru Forester with the Draw-Tite hitch?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75650 for your 2010 Subaru Forester is compatible with the Thule T2 Pro # TH83JV. I have linked a video showing an example installation of the hitch for you.
The bike rack will not be able to fold up though. In the folded position it measure 5 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole. When we installed the Draw-Tite hitch we measured 6-1/2 inches from the center of the pin hole to the rear edge of the bumper. The Curt hitch # 13147 would allow for the rack to fold up since we measured for clearance and it was only 4-3/8 inches.
